What is home health care?

Medicare.gov defines home health care as a wide range of health care services that can be given in your home for an illness or injury.

It is usually less expensive, and just as effective as care you get in a hospital.

What can you expect?

Doctor’s orders are needed to start care. Once your doctor refers you to a home health agency, the agency will schedule an appointment to speak with you about your health needs.

The home health staff will also talk to your doctor about your care and keep them updated about your progress. Throughout the care period, they will work closely with your doctor.

Why choose home health care?

Recover Faster

Patients are cared for in the comfort of their homes. Your health care is personalized to your needs. As a result, patients recover faster and with better outcomes.

Cost Effective

For qualified patients, Medicare pays 100% of the costs associated with home health services. We (At Home Quality Care) also accept most forms of private insurance.

Less Stressful

Dealing with an illness or sick family member can be stressful! Home health agencies introduce patients and their families to community support and resources. Many communities have a network of senior citizen services such as volunteer companions, transportation for the elderly or disabled, support groups for caregivers & even financial or legal help to see you through a crisis. Patients and their families have somewhere to turn to for help. This gives them peace of mind and leads to better outcomes for all.
